What we use

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar storage. We do not run advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell or share personal information.

Strictly necessary

Your consent decision is recorded in your browser's local storage under infinit.consent.v1. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and exists so we do not ask you again on every page. It cannot be switched off without it, we would have no way to honour your choice.

Analytics — optional

Google Analytics 4 (_ga and _ga_* cookies, stored for up to two years) tells us which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which devices they use. We use it only to improve the site. IP addresses are truncated before storage.

These cookies are not set unless analytics is enabled for you, as described below.

How your choice is made

What happens by default depends on where you are, because the law differs:

• Europe, the UK, Switzerland, Brazil and Canada — nothing but strictly necessary storage runs until you actively agree. Rejecting is one click, exactly as easy as accepting, and rejecting is not treated as agreement.
• United States — analytics runs unless you opt out. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out automatically and never ask.
• Australia and elsewhere — analytics runs, you are told on arrival, and you can switch it off whenever you like.

We work out which applies from your browser's time zone and language settings. We do not look up your IP address to do it, because that would itself be a tracking event before you had chosen.

Changing your mind

Select Cookie settings at the foot of any page to bring the choice back up. Your new decision takes effect immediately.

If you turn analytics off after having had it on, we instruct Google's tag not to run and delete the analytics cookies already on your device.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Nothing on this site depends on analytics to work.
